See Super Seniors Order of Merit rules for penalties applied for missed matches etc. The Champions willtherefore be decided on day 3 along with the Runners-up and positions 3rd to8th. Should a Super Seniormember elect to play in the main Matchplay, OoM points won will be added toboth the Main Scratch OoM and SS Scratch OoM tables. Each competition will comprise of 8qualifiers from the top of the respective Super Seniors Scratch and HandicapOrder of Merit tables following the completion of the Masters Meeting at Monifieth. - As you know we changed the format in 2023 and followed up with a surveyquestionnaire to seek feedback from those that qualified and played, and thosethat qualified but didn’t play.
ON COURSE MARSHALLING AT SSGS EVENTS
The team of 12 players will be announced after completion of the SSGS SpringMeeting at Barassie on 21st April 2026. Each team will comprise of six players, at least four ofwhom must be age 55 or over on the competition date, the remainder of whom must be 50 or over on that date. The 16 areas as defined by the Scottish Golf Limited mayenter a team for this one round scratch stroke play event.

Access relevant competition tab below to access current entrants and/or draws and subsequent results etc. Of course,the presence of the marshall at any particular part of the course does notnecessarily mean he is concerned about a group’s pace of play. So far, themere presence of a marshall in a buggy has been sufficient to remind groupsthat have fallen behind to slightly quicken their pace without need forwarnings or players being ‘put on the clock’. Be aware however that receipt of entry does not confirm a tee time as a ballot may be required if more than 129 entries received at the closing date.
For Super Senior events only, non SSGS members can play in super seniors open, Super Seniors Masters and 1 other super senior event prior to joining the society. If you wish to play in more events, including our non-super senior events then society membership fees are applicable, annual subscription of £25 for existing members and £45 for new members must accompany 1st entry submitted. Ian Brotherston will be playing Captain of the scratch teamand Ian Jeen the non-playing Captain of the handicap team.

In the event of a tie on OOM points, ranking will be decided by the number of SSGS events played in. Maximum handicap for super senior events only is 15.4 These days,complaints about slow play are common in virtually all golfing environments andarenas. All successful entrants will be emailed 14 days prior to event, reminding them that they have entered event, and advising that draw will be conducted in 7 days.
